mMeteo, is an application that can read your current location and automatically go to appropriate forecast from Polish institute (ICM) - meteo.pl. The app was created much before new version of the new m.meteo.pl page. This new page has similar capabilities and (thanks to ICM support) is better integrated with the original service. My app is more geek/hacker style ;-).

Technical highlights:

  1. History of mMeteo show how did mJappis evolve - that is a framework for creating mobile applications easing data management and i18n. I will probably also update this app with a release version of mJappis.
  2. The app can read location from browser API.
  3. It can also display Google map of the location set or read.
